TINYCON CONFERENCE

TinyCon – Exposé 2024 Identity Design
Role: Lead Designer
Tools: Adobe Illustrator | Photoshop | InDesign

For this project, I was tasked with designing the visual identity for TinyCon 2024, a conference with a focus on innovation, tech, and culture. The brief was intentionally open, but with a clear direction toward a modern, edgy aesthetic — one that could incorporate elements of heavy metal visual language while still remaining sleek and relevant for a design-forward audience.

I developed a range of concepts exploring distortion, digital decay, typographic noise, and censorship (through "redaction") to reflect themes of exposure and hidden knowledge. The visual system included posters, banners, pins, name tags, and other conference collateral. The process allowed me to play with type in unconventional ways, experiment with layering and glitch effects, and ultimately arrive at designs that felt bold and disruptive — exactly what TinyCon was after.

The outcome was really well received by the organisers and attendees alike, and it gave me a great opportunity to merge high-energy aesthetics with practical, applied branding.
